Role Summary
Your role within VNHIP is to:
- Coordinate all project activities in the project area/s allocated to you
- Provide support to other project managers and workers of VNHIP
- Help with other administrative tasks as required.
Main Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
Oversee all project activities, including:
- Be the main contact point for projects;
- Responsible for overseeing projects, including project planning, budgeting, monitoring, and coordinating tasks with other staff and volunteers;
- Responsible for submitting activity reports, meeting minutes and financial reports on a regular basis;
- Maintain a filing system to accommodate all documents related to projects;
- Deal with challenges that the project may face and inform the Project manager or Director;
- Assist to obtain approvals from local and central authorities for projects as required;
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships and networks with key partners and stakeholders;
- Assist with international staff and volunteers by acting as a guide and/or translator as necessary.
- Organize and facilitate training and workshops.
- Contribute to marketing and social media.
- Provide translation and interpretation at meetings/training/community workshops as needed.
- Carry out other tasks as required.
Key Selection Criteria – Knowledge, skills and attitude required:
- University degrees in relevant fields
- Competence and experience in project management is an advantage
- Dedicated, passionate, a quick learner and flexible;
- Compassionate, respectful and caring of others, especially the vulnerable;
- Strong interpersonal skills, with well-developed written and oral communications skills in English and Vietnamese;
- Willing and able to travel and work over night in regional, rural and remote areas. Weekend travel rarely.
- Good computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
