Improving quality of life for those with disability in provinces affected by Agent Orange

The war has receded, but its consequences are still very heavy.
The project "Improving the Quality of Life of Persons with Disabilities in provinces heavily sprayed with Agent Orange" is jointly implemented by USAID and the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense in 8 provinces in Vietnam, including Quang Nam.

The specific goal of the project is to improve rehabilitation services and care services for people with disabilities​

Increase Access of HIV Information and Care for Hard to Reach and High Risk Groups in Central High Land of Vietnam

This program aims to enable hard-to-reach and high-risk groups to access HIV information and care. These groups are (1) drug users, illegal sex workers, gold digger; and (2) ethnic minorities in mountainous districts of Quang Nam province-Vietnam.
The project also supports children and young people infected/affected by HIV in Da Nang city and Quang Nam province.
The program also focuses on alleviating HIV patients' hardship by improving wells being and quality of life through supporting vocational training, counseling, and livelihood; thereby, contributing to UNAIDS' target 90-90-90 and beyond.​

Inclusion education for children with disability

All children are welcome to school, including children with disabilities”. This is the core content in the declaration of Lillian Fond – an organization dedicated to supporting Children With Disabilities (CWDs), in education for CWDs.
Inclusive education is an educational method where CWDs study with abled children in regular schools. So how do CWDs have a truly inclusive educational environment? This is a challenge for the education discipline and the community.
