Small projects of children with disabilities
In Vietnam, summer vacation runs from June to August. This is an opportunity for children to have fun and do the things they love. However, due to the ongoing epidemic, the summer activities of students are limited. In order for students not to be constrained during the summer vacation, VNHIP cooperates with the school to organize groups of students, including students with disabilities, to carry out useful "small projects" such as: planting trees, taking care of flower gardens, decorating toilets and playgrounds, These are meaningful activities to encourage students with disabilities to participate more actively in collective activities at school, helping them integrate better with friends and the community.

HIV testing for 85 people in high risk groups
VNHIP in collaboration with Quang Nam CDC and Phuoc Son District Health Center have conducted HIV testing for 85 people in high-risk groups. High-risk groups here include: spouses and children of people living with HIV, sex workers and people on Methadone treatment. After this screening and testing, there were 03 cases of HIV-positive diagnosed.
With the support of the local health sector, we have included these 3 new HIV-infected people on the list of patients for management and treatment. This will help them receive the right treatment, as well as ensure the health and safety of themselves and their beloved ones and the community |
Bicycles for disadvantaged children
One of the most important goals of the HIV project is to ensure that all children affected by HIV attend school and do not drop out of school for any reason. For disadvantaged children, a good bicycle to go to school is quite expensive and luxurious. With the sponsorship of Help for Hope, we were able to provide new bicycles for 10 disadvantaged children. This is a meaningful gift for the children as this will help them go to school more easily and comfortably. We hope that the children will always be confident and hopefully they will achieve good results in their studies.
