"School health festival" with the theme "Washing hands with soap" was held by VNHIP at many schools in Nam Giang mountainous district. This activity aims to promote awareness among ethnic minorities and the community about the importance of hand washing with soap to prevent disease.

Mid Autumn festival

70 disadvantaged children of Da Nang city and Quang Nam province had fun together with some warm up games, lion dance, moon cakes and gifts.

Summer picnic for 30 disadvantaged children 

Last week we organized a fantastic summer picnic for 50 disadvantaged children and their carers to an ecotourism destination. The children were so and happy to meet together after a long time. They played together,share the joys and many stories.
Children love to join the interesting activities such as dancing, photo taking, mineral bath. In addition, they also learn useful lessons to help protect themselves and their friends and family through wound healing practice. After the trip, all children received a package ò gift from our generous Vietnamese donors.

Life skill development for children effected by HIV

VNHIP implemented the training course on life skill development for children affected by HIV  in Da Nang City. It is 12 interactive training modules. Each session, the children will focus on one skill or value that is important to living a successful and happy life.

Struggle with non-communicable diseases

VNHIP cooperated with the Nam Giang district health center to do research on non-communicable diseases for planning and management of those diseases.

Water for 500 ethnic minority students

We have crossed more than 100 kilometers on the narrow, winding mountain roads to come to the schools which have many students but no available water supply . We decided to help them to build the water system and water storage tanks so all students and teachers have enough clean water to use.
