Breaking Barriers: The Inspiring Journey of Bảo Trân

When Bảo Trân started first grade at Van Thanh Tung Primary School in 2021, she struggled to keep up with her classmates. While her peers learned to read and write, Bảo Trân often fell behind in her own world, afraid to interact with others. She has trouble concentrating in class and is rarely engaged with her peers.
Despite this, her teacher, Ms. Anh, saw her full potential. Understanding that Trân needed a different approach, she designed a personalized learning plan tailored to her abilities. Trân received extra support biweekly in the inclusive education room sponsored by VNHIP, where colorful toys and engaging tools turned learning into an enjoyable experience. Ms. Anh patiently guided her, praised her progress, and encouraged classmates to include her in their activities. She also worked closely with Trân’s parents, ensuring they had the tools to support her at home.

Through this combined effort, Trân began to thrive. By second grade, she was able to read and write, albeit slowly, and solve simple math problems. More importantly, she's no longer the shy, withdrawn girl she once was. She now smiles, talks more, and has even made new friendships.
Beyond academics, Trân actively participated in extracurricular activities organized by the school and VNHIP. She explored the world beyond the classroom, participating in outdoor trips, gardening, baking, and painting—all alongside her parents. These experiences helped her develop soft skills, build confidence, and create cherished memories.
Bảo Trân’s journey is a testament to the power of dedicated teachers, supportive families, and an inclusive environment. With the right support, every child has the chance to grow and shine.
