Thy’s Story: A Family’s Strength and Determination

In a small rental apartment in Da Nang City, 12-year-old Thy lives with her parents and older sister. Despite their financial struggles, her family remains hopeful and determined to build a better future.
Thy’s father, a hardworking mechanic, was diagnosed with HIV five years ago after an industrial accident. As the family’s sole provider, he diligently follows his treatment to stay healthy and continue working. Thy’s mother, currently unemployed, takes on jobs whenever possible to help make ends meet. Fortunately, Thy and her siblings are HIV-negative.
Thy’s older sister is an outstanding student, always striving to make her parents proud. Their parents work tirelessly to cover rent, school fees, and daily expenses, but their unstable income makes it difficult to secure a better life for their children.
