Life-Saving Heart Surgeries for Patients in NeedHeart valve disease and congenital heart disease are among the most common diagnoses in Vietnam, yet life-saving surgery remains out of reach for many due to high costs ranging from $2,000 to $5,000. While insurance may cover 30-50%, most patients still struggle to afford the remaining expenses.
Through the Viet Nam Health Improvement Project (VNHIP), we assess patients' financial situations, help them secure funding, and bridge the financial gap to ensure they receive the surgery they need. Additionally, we provide post-operative follow-up to support their recovery. |
