Role Summary
Your role within VNHIP is to:
  • Coordinate all project activities in the project area/s allocated to you
  • Provide support to other project managers and workers of VNHIP
  • Help with other administrative tasks as required. 
As a small organisation, all staff need to be flexible to respond to tasks as needed, and support each other as workloads ebb and flow. At VNHIP, teamwork is everything.

Main Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
  Oversee all project activities, including:
  • Be the main contact point for projects;
  • Responsible for overseeing projects, including project planning, budgeting, monitoring, and coordinating tasks with other staff and volunteers;
  • Responsible for submitting activity reports, meeting minutes and financial reports on a regular basis;
  • Maintain a filing system to accommodate all documents related to projects;
  • Deal with challenges that the project may face and inform the Project manager or Director;
  • Assist  to obtain approvals from local and central authorities for projects as required;
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships and networks with key partners and stakeholders;
  • Assist with international staff and volunteers by acting as a guide and/or translator as necessary.
  • Organize and facilitate training and workshops.
  • Contribute to marketing and social media.
  • Provide translation and interpretation at meetings/training/community workshops as needed.
  • Carry out other tasks as required.
 
Key Selection Criteria – Knowledge, skills and attitude required:
  • University degrees in relevant fields
  • Competence and experience in project management is an advantage
  • Dedicated, passionate, a quick learner and flexible;
  • Compassionate, respectful and caring of others, especially the vulnerable;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with well-developed written and oral communications skills in English and Vietnamese;
  • Willing and able to travel and work over night in regional, rural and remote areas. Weekend travel rarely.
  • Good computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
