Nguyen Ngoc Ha, a 12-year-old student at Tran Phu Secondary School in Dien Ban district, Quang Nam province, has faced immense challenges from a young age. Born with congenital scoliosis, she underwent five spinal adjustments between 2019 and 2022. As a result, her mobility is limited, and daily activities can be difficult since her spine has not developed normally.
Despite these hardships, Ha remains a determined and responsible child. With her parents working long hours at a factory, she takes care of her younger sister and helps with housework every day. But beyond her responsibilities at home, she is also a dedicated student who loves going to school. Her favorite subject is art, where she finds joy in expressing herself through drawings.

Ha once shared her dream of becoming a cake maker with her art teacher, a vision she beautifully captured in her painting "My Dream Cake Shop." Her talent and creativity shone brightly, earning her second prize in the "My Dream" painting contest, organized by the Department of Education and Training and the Association of People with Disabilities of Quang Nam province.
Since Tran Phu School received support from the VNHIP project, Ha has had more opportunities to participate in enriching activities like field trips, learning programs, dancing, and painting competitions. She has even won awards in group dance and art contests. Additionally, she has received gifts and scholarships at the end of the school year. Among these, her most cherished gift was a set of painting colors, which she now uses to create art in her free time.
These experiences have brought joy and hope not only to Ha and her family but have also helped her grow in confidence and resilience. Through her passion for art and unwavering spirit, Ha continues to inspire those around her, proving that dreams can flourish despite life’s challenges.
