Help Giang Build a Brighter Future

Giang is a 15-year-old girl in grade 10. She lives in a small, overcrowded house with her mother—who is living with HIV—alongside her paternal grandparents and the families of her two uncles. Although Giang herself is HIV-negative, her mother’s health is a constant concern.
To provide for her daughter, Giang’s mother works in an industrial zone in Da Nang City. She is often exhausted due to her illness but remains committed to her HIV treatment. Giang’s father has been working in southern Vietnam, but for a long time, he has neither contacted nor supported them financially. Despite these hardships, Giang is surrounded by a caring extended family, with her grandparents stepping in to take care of her while her mother is at work.
Transportation is another challenge. Without a motorbike, Giang’s mother commutes 40 minutes each way by bicycle. If her bicycle breaks down, she has to rely on the kindness of colleagues to get to work. Yet, she continues to work tirelessly to afford nutritious food and cover basic needs for her family. Like any growing child, Giang needs proper nutrition to stay healthy, learn, and thrive.
Your support can help Giang have a better life, ensuring she has the opportunities and resources to pursue her dreams.
